I put off learning about email marketing for the longest time for two reasons: 1.) I thought that it was just a fad and would die off within a few years and 2.) none of the email newsletters I had ever received really inspired me.
And then I learned about how email marketing was supposed to be done and became an email marketing-convert practically over night.
Email marketing to me is the second most perfect form of marketing (after content marketing) because it is both permission-based and allows you to both delight and inform your readers at the same time.
While most of my email design experience has been with static emails, I'm currently tinkering with interactive emails that can boost engagement and conversion rates.
